1: Introduction

There are several ways to get the students interested in this topic. You may want to start the class by just writing the words “No Man is an Island” on the blackboard (or on a PowerPoint slide) and then ask the students to draw the image they see when given this statement. From their drawing you may continue with the painting on the first page of this chapter.
