About "You’ll Never Walk Alone"

”You’ll Never Walk Alone” by Rogers and Hammerstein, is written for the musical Carousel (1945). At every home game in the 1960s, Liverpool F.C. played the top ten chart songs. But when Gerry and the Pacemakers’ “You’ll Never Walk Alone” dropped out of this list, Liverpool’s supporters practically demanded its return. And, as the years passed, the song became the very heart and soul of the club.
