Mark Haddon (1962–) is a British novelist and poet who is most famous for his novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, published in 2003. This novel won two prizes: the Whitbread Book of the Year Award and the Commonwealth Writers‘ Best First Book Prize (2004).
