The New Yorker (Webquest)

Peter Cameron published his first short stories in the New Yorker, among them “Homework”. Go to the New Yorker website to find out what kind of magazine this is.
  1. Describe the contents of the New Yorker. Which kind of sections do you find in this magazine?
  2. Read a text and write a short text where you tell what it is about. Who wrote the text? Which genre is it? Is it for example a persuasive text, an informative one or a descriptive one? What can you say about the language? Is it for instance formal or informal?
