The English-speaking world includes many new voices in an international patchwork of values and cultures. Who are these new voices and where do they come from? How are our lives intertwined with theirs in a post-colonial world? “No man is an island” no longer applies only to those in our own neighborhood or even hemisphere. In a globalized world one must be aware of the challenges and the values that affect all of us.
